The Landseer European Continental Type has its origins in North America. We have the pleasure to introduce this wonderful breed here in the United States.
All our dogs come from strong, healthy, traceable European Champion bloodlines.
Before our Landseers were approved for breeding by the German Landseer Club (DLC), they had to undergo in-depth x-ray checks of their hips, elbows and shoulders. These checks were conducted through the German Kennel Club by independent vets. Dogs with bad joints are not certified for breeding. In addition to that all our dogs have been checked for genetic issues by German and US vets and the DLC. Internationally certified judges have checked our breeding dogs for breed compliance.
We have had Landseers for over 20 years and we are members of the German Landseer/ German Kennel Club. Every litter is authorized by the Club and the puppies are checked by German Club Judges. Thus our puppies come with certified German pedigrees.
Our breeding program and the health of our dogs is monitored by the Veterinary Teaching Hospital at the Oregon State University
"We love all kinds of dogs, large and small. However, the Landseer European Continental Type is the most suitable breed for us. We admire and appreciate the Landseer's desire to please as well as its strength, athletism, power and trainability."
